Alternator Dead In 2006 Gt (ving)

First, where is it located on this car and how do you change it? I do not have the money to take it to a shop. I haven't had the car but for 2 months and hadn't even paid the 2nd payment on it. The battery lite just started lighting up and then the ABS lite came on, too. The radio, windows, etc works. I even got the battery jumped and it started up fine but I knew I wouldn't make it home. It had a strange sound. The alternator part is hard to find and not even carried at most auto part shops. I had to order it online--the BBB industries 11244 for turbo is what I ordered--the quickest I could get with a fairly good reputation.
