Can A Carb Engine Be Put In A Fuel Injected Vehicle?
I want a vehicle with zero computers. I could buy an old 50s, 60s, or 70s vehicle, but those are classics now and they cost as much as a brand new vehicle. 90s vehicles are in that grey area where they aren't considered classics yet but aren't new so they are pretty cheap. Could a carb engine be put in a fuel injected truck? Im no car expert so I'm sorry if i sound stupid. I just want to know if it can be done. Thanks

Yes it can. But only the intake manifold needs to be changed to a carbureted one. You don't need to change the Engine, just the Fuel Delivery to the engine. Chevy and Ford V8 carb manifolds are available. You also need to pull the high pressure fuel pump out of the tank and use a low pressure inline pump. And after all that you will get an engine that makes Less Power and worse mpgs. And you will never pass an emission test. I guess you have had bad luck with car computers (ECMs and PCMs) but they are reliable. Except Chrysler products. They are junk. Think long and hard before you throw your money away.
