Fuel Injection Problem

I have a rubber line from the front of the fuel injection system, that is leaking. The car is hard to start after adding fuel and idles rough. I can also smell fuel inside the car after fueling it up. Is the leaking line the cause of my problem, or could it be something else? What is the cost to replace this line?

If you don't fix the leaking fuel line, you won't have to worry because you won't have a car! Very unsafe to ignore a leaking fuel line, especially if it's in the engine compartment.

I would replace the fuel line and then see if that solves your problem. You can buy 25 feet of nylon fuel line at Autozone for $35 or so. Just remember to relieve the fuel line pressure before removing the old line. You do that by pulling the fuel pump relay (fuse) and then cranking the engine. It should crank, but not start. If it starts, you pulled the wrong fuse.
