To store a value from equation 3 in mode 5 on your Casio FX-991ES calculator, you can follow these steps:

Press the MODE button to enter mode 5.

Press the EQU button to enter equation mode.

Enter equation 3 into the calculator.

Press the SOLVE button to solve the equation.

The answer to the equation will be displayed on the screen.

To store the answer, press the STO button followed by the variable you want to store it in (A, B, C, D, E, F, X, or Y).

For example, to store the answer to equation 3 in variable A, you would press the following buttons:

MODE EQU 3 SOLVE A STO

Once you have stored the value in a variable, you can recall it by pressing the ALPHA button followed by the variable name. For example, to recall the value stored in variable A, you would press the following buttons:

ALPHA A

You can also use the stored values in calculations by simply typing their variable names into the equation. For example, if you have stored the value 5 in variable A and the value 10 in variable B, you can calculate the sum of the two values by typing the following equation into the calculator:

A + B

The calculator will then display the answer, which is 15.

Note: You cannot store values in equation 3 in mode 5 using the same method as you would in other modes. In other modes, you can store a value by simply pressing the STO button followed by the variable you want to store it in. However, this method does not work in equation 3 in mode 5.

I hope this helps.

  1. The Casio calculator can store values in two ways: memory and variables.
  2. To store a value in memory, press the M+ button and then enter the value.
  3. To store a value in a variable, press the VAR button and then enter the name of the variable.
