Scanned Pages Partly Cut Off

I own a Canon MX892. When I scan a document of, say, 10 pages about half the pages are much narrower then the standard pages and text on the side is cut off. The effect seems to be random. E. g. on this report pages 1, 3, 4, 5, 9 of 10 were cut off. I have not observed this on single (individula) pages. This makes the unusable. Please help.Wilhelm Evertz

You can perform a calibration on the scanner by using the Scan Gear driver, accessible via the Ink Jet Scan Utility. To perform the calibration, please follow these steps:

1. Start the IJ Scan Utility.

2. Click the Scan Gear button from the main screen.

3. Click on the Advanced Mode tab in the window that appears.

4. Click on the Preferences button at the bottom of the window.

5. On the SCANNER tab, in the Calibration Settings section, ensure that the Execute at Calibration at Every Scan setting is set to ON, then press the OK button.

6. Click the blue PREVIEW button to preview the image you are trying to scan.

7. Make any needed adjustments, then click the green SCAN button to scan the image. If this doesn't work you may want to consider installing the latest driver/software here.
