Trouble Printing
i have brand new ink cartidges when I go to print ,the printer acts like its printing but there nothing on the paper canon pixma mx712

Hello edcarr13,
Please go here and choose the 3rd titile Replacing a Fine Ink Cartridge to review the steps for replacing an ink cartridge, thus ensure these were replaced correctly.
Next, go to the same link above and scroll down to the 7th title Deep Cleaning the Print head for the steps to perform the cleaning process to see if this clears up your issue.
If, you are still unable to print anything after following the above, you may have a faulty Print head. More information on this, as well as, the steps to change a Print head can be viewed at the same link above, 1st Title.
Please note: If your issue is due to a faulty print head, and depending on how old the printer is, you may decide it would be easier to just replace the printer versus purchasing a new print head.
