My Printer Keeps Telling Me I Am Out Of Paper When I Am Not

My printer keeps telling me I am out of paper no matter where I have the paper. (top or bottom feed). Tried turning off and on, tried changing paper size, tried the cleaning by holding stop button while error light blinks this doesn't work. out of ideas
