Brothers Pe 770 Is Not Catching The Bobbin.

The top thread of my Brothers PE 770 is not catching the bobbin. I've changed the needle, thread, stabilizer (top and bottom), and bobbin thread. I've even taken apart the machine and cleaned it out. Still havnig the same issues. Now I get a message saying, please check upper thread. We are military family living in Europe, so bringing it to a local maintance person is not the easiest. Has anyone else experienced this!
