Brother Mfc-j6510dw - Scanning Question

I am trying to scan a 13 page document as a PDF. My scanner will only scan as a jpeg (picture file) and scans each page as a separate file. I want to scan the whole document as a pdf. Have tried converting to PDF, but my computer will not let me. I have looked through all the manuals, but no luck - can anyone help me? Kind regards
