2nd Refurbished Won't Load Bobbin????

This is my second refurbished machine...I watch the video and do everything like they say the bobbin does not load. It doesn't spin, the machine is working but bobbin not doing anything. I'm pretty steamed b/c my Son bought this as a mothers day present and I can't even use it.
