Turn On Interface Module For Bose Cinemate Without The Remote

I was given a Bose CineMate with no remote. Is there any way I can turn on the module without the original remote so I can program it to a universal remote? PLEASE HELPLOL

Okay, it actually takes longer than that for Bose systems to fully reset. Try disconnecting the power to the unit for 60 minutes, and also disconnect all other associated cables (label them if you have to ). After this time, plug the other cables back in and then plug in AC power. Let me know what happens.
