No Speakerphone Or Ring Alert

My speakerphone is not working, nor does my phone ring when a call is coming in.  The vibrate function does work for calls and email alerts.  First noticed on Sunday, June 12.  Need to know if this is a software or hardware issue before I contact Verizon.
