Can I Upgrade My Asus G51vx-rx05 Laptop To Windows 7
Hi, I bought a refurbished ASUS laptop, g51VX-RX05 with an Intel core 2 duo processor and 4 GB memory. It came with windows vista. Can I upgrade to windows 7 home. Is this something I can do on my own? Thank you for any help - Vince

This particular model is an excellent little laptop. Windows 7 will definitely run on it, including the 64 bit version.
It is something that you should be able to upgrade yourself, if you are concerned about how to go about it, here is a link from Microsoft to walk you through it.

I would suggest backing up any documents, files , and multimedia (music/videos) that are "must-haves" before doing the upgrade, either by burning them to CD or DVD, copying them to an external HD or copying them to a flash drive.
