To reset the password on an Alpine KCE-250BT, you will need to follow these steps:
Turn on the Alpine KCE-250BT.
Press and hold the SETUP button for at least 2 seconds.
The SETUP menu will be displayed.
Use the Rotary encoder or the Double Action encoder to select "System Settings".
Press ENT.
Use the Rotary encoder or the Double Action encoder to select "PIN Code".
Press ENT.
The current PIN code will be displayed.
Press and hold the SETUP button for at least 2 seconds.
The PIN code will be reset to "0000".
You can now use the new PIN code to connect your Alpine KCE-250BT to Bluetooth devices.
Here are some additional things to keep in mind:
The PIN code is case-sensitive.
You can only reset the PIN code 5 times before the Alpine KCE-250BT will need to be reset to factory defaults.
If you forget the PIN code, you will need to reset the Alpine KCE-250BT to factory defaults.
To reset the Alpine KCE-250BT to factory defaults, you will need to follow these steps:
Turn off the Alpine KCE-250BT.
Press and hold the SETUP button and the ESC button for at least 10 seconds.
The Alpine KCE-250BT will be reset to factory defaults.
This will erase all of the settings on the Alpine KCE-250BT, including the PIN code. You will need to re-configure the Alpine KCE-250BT after it has been reset.
