It is not really possible to upgrade your Acer Aspire E1-571 computer to Windows 8 or any version of Operating System. This is because according the the Acer Support website, this unit has a built in Operating System. You can choose between the following Operating System upon purchase.
- Genuine Windows® 7 Home Premium 64-bit Service Pack 1 or 2
- Genuine Windows® 7 Home Basic 64-bit Service Pack 1 or 2
