How Do I Buy And Download More Memory For My 5 Year Laptop Aspire 3690 - 2672?

it is not download it is upgrade

first of all you need to with laptop specs and see how much memory can you laptop read if can read 4GB and you have 2GB you can upgrade but that is not all if motherboard has one slot only for memory than you have remove you 2GB and put a single memory card for 4GB but if motherboard has 2 slot for RAM then you can keep you 2GB and put in another 2GB and total it to 4GB

since you are uncertaiin about type of memory for computer memory go to www.crucial.com and use the Memory Advisor, in the memory, scroll and click on Acer, Aspire 3690 and the info will come up, after info comes up write down the onscreen info and take it to a place where computer parts are sold, best buy for example and buy from there they can install it for you too.

but today is ur lucky day I'll provide you the info needed for ur memory upgrade. you'll need DDR2 PC 5300 ( non ecc ) your laptop will have 2 memory card slots and maximum memory it can hold is 2gb.

if you decide to install it yourself there are some options, youtube videos,look for acer aspire 3690 manual on google search to help you how to do it. also you'll need a small precision screwdriver set ( non magnetic )
