Acer Aspire 5750 Screen Problem

I recently half closed my laptop with a SanDisk inside. When I came to switch it on the screen was whitish blue with a band of white down one side and a black blob where the SanDisk had been. I can't get the screen to change, what do I do now?

Unfortunately it appears that by closing the laptop with an object inside (I assume by SanDisk you mean a USB flash drive or similar) you have damaged the lcd panel. There is no way - to my knowledge - of repairing a damaged panel, and as such you would have to either:
a) Take the laptop to a repair shop and get them to fit a new panel
or
b) Purchase and install a replacement panel yourself (this is a complicated process and as such should not be done by anyone unfamiliar with computer repair)
