Inverter For Acer Aspire 5750-6493
I have an Acer Aspire 5750-6493 model and I was told that I will have to replace the inverter and led screen. Is the inverter located inside the screen itself?

No it is not. It's a small board at the bottom of the screen. Instructions on how to remove it can be found in this video.
