This dryer's motor caught on fire!

We had this dryer for 7 years, a I'm sure most people have had it for at least 5+ years as it came out in 2005. No problem really ever with it. This weekend the motor caught fire & being a gas dryer Gpd knows what could've happened. Luckily we were home & able to put the fire out to avoid catastrophe. The Fire Dept & a repair company who is contacted with Frigidaire agreed that it was not a lint problem or maintenance problem. The motor just got too hot & started a fire, the heat from which rendered our washing machine inoperable as they are stacked on one another. just as an FYI 1) always be home when you use any dryer 2) have a fire extinguisher in your home 3) Frigidaire Customer service is not working with us on any type of replacement or credit. Basically, after their one year warranty is up, they could care less if you house would burn down, or blow up!
