3 Beeps

what does it mean whan a eMachine T5226 beeps 3 times at start up.  After that there is nothing on the screen

Based on my research, 3 beeps on your eMachines T5226 computer indicates that there is a problem with the memory of your computer. These are the following errors:
  • A failure has occurred within the first 64 KB or memory
  • Base memory read/write test error.

It could be a keyboard/keyboard card error or the video display circuitry.
