Emachines T5010 Dvd Drive Won't Open Why Is There No Manual Eject Hole?

My eMachine T5010 needs system restore via CD but drive won't open. Manual and pic indicate an emergency manual eject hole but there is nothing. I bought the computer new years ago and have all paperwork but this doesn't make opening the optical drive less frustrating. Any suggestions as to where this mystery eject hole would be helpful otherwise I'm probably going to have to remove the case. I have newer computers, all of which have easily locatable emergency eject holes for the optical drives but the problem isn't with any of these.
