Clock Battery

I have to reset the time on my pc every time I have turned it off.  Is there a battery I need to replace?

No, you do not need to replace the CMOS battery of your eMachines T3414 if you just wish to turn the time off or just make some settings. You can modify the settings of your computer's time by following these steps.

1. Click the time/date at the bottom right part of the Windows taskbar

2. Click the Change Date and Time Settings link

3. You can now modify the time of your computer
