Does your computer turn off as if you pulled the power supply and then turn back on? If so, you have a hard disk problem. The best free thing you can do is DO NOT change the os and uninstall any unnecessary programs. You may want to open and dust the computer as well. Also, don't run large porgrams that will use your hard disk a lot. This will not guarantee the problem will go away. If you want to garantee it, you must buy a new hard disk. You can buy it off of ebay/amazon. Make sure it is for your specific computer (company and model) and it is BRAND NEW. If you get it used, the same problem may begin again and your computer can get more serious permenent problems. All of this is only true if the computer shuts off while doing anything with the computer, even just leaving it on.

P.S., your computer may just be really old if it happens only when streaming online videos. If you are doing other things online though, then that is not the problem.
