Battery Is Not Picking Up Chaege. Model D729z

I Purcased New Battery From The Same Shop From Where I Had Purchased My This Laptop . The New Battery Is Not Picking Up Charge While The Older Battery Is Picking Up Charge .model D729z

Remove the charger, Remove the battery, then press the power button DOWN for 1 minute.Replace the charger. Then try again with no battery in.
