Words with Friends

I submitted a word on my ipad and then got an ad from match.com and it has no way to "x" out of it and I can't get back to any of my games. How do I get rid of it? I went to Safari on and "x'd" out of it but when I go back to words, it's still there! How do I get back to my games???????????????????
