How To Replace Memory Battery Yamaha Psr 530

The internal battery is MOST LIKELY soldered in. Replacements are fairly easy to source, and replacement will involve opening the beast up and using "soldering wick" to unsolder and remove the old battery - and resolder the new one.

If you are uncomfortable with this - perhaps a tech-savvy friend could help. Alternatively, any electrical repair shop should be able to do this for you for a small fee.

The Reset for this board is HOLD RIGHT-MOST WHITE KEY ON THE KEYBOARD WHILE TURNING ON THE POWER. This will probably shaft anything you had "in memory" - though it sounds like this may have happened already . . . .
