Yamaha Portatone Psr 280 Problem .

My Yamaha Portatone PSR-280 is having a problem. When cut on it is in a different language and the speakers make a fuzzy, static-y noise. When I press keys, it just acts as if I didn't. When i press the numbers or other buttons, it says other things in a different language. Does anyone know what to do?
