Tape Not Playing.
The fast forward & reverse work but the tape won't play. It makes a click sound as if it's reached the end.

Please check Take-up reel section of deck as symptom shows deck is not getting take-up reel pulses while in playback.
This is safety feature to avoid tape damage if its coming out from pinch roller and not being wind on reel.
