Yamaha Cvp-503 And Mic
Hi
I have connected my Shure PG58 mic to my Yamaha Clavinova CVP-503 via the input port (using an XLR female to Mono cable) but the green mic light is not lit up...It only flickers on for the duration of any sound going through the mic. It says in the manual that this light should be on constantly when a mic is attached.
Any ideas anybody?

hi there?
I too have the same model. I do lots of recording. Try recording as per the manual. If you want your voice to be loud then you will hear a squeal, n the red light will glow instead of green. Put your hand underneath the keys, where I suppose you gave put the cable pin of the mic,and turn clockwise for for green light to be visible.
