Cannot Access My Yahoo Email.

When I accessed Instant Messenger, it asked for my yahoo ID number & password. I entered my email address & email password and rec'd message it was invalid. When I try to go back to email, it says my email name & password is invalid. I can access everything else on yahoo except my email.
