How To Register A New Mobile Number To Get A Forgotten Password?

need to get on my yahoo account but i forgot my password. They want to send my code to change password to a mobile phone number that is no longer mine. I need to change mobile phone number to my current one.

Mobile phone numbers are not required for Yahoo use. To recover your account, see https://help.yahoo.com/kb/mail/SLN3808.html?impressions. Once your account is recovered, you can update your mobile phone number as instructed here.
