Reverification Of Account

I got a message from Yahoo saying I had to reverify my account or it would be closed. My computer sent a warning that this was a phishing site. I need to know that Yahoo did not send that email.

The warning is well advised. With even the scant information you've provided I can tell you it's extremely unlikely that the message in question is actually from Yahoo. Note that we're an independent help site *not* connected with Yahoo. One way to be absolutely sure is to examine the source code of the message [assuming it was an email], or the URL to which you were referred. Another is to find out from Yahoo. You can ask Yahoo for help with the form at http://io.help.yahoo.com/contact/index?locale=en_US&y=PROD_ACCT&page=contact. (You may have to wait an instant for the left panel to populate.) You can also call 800-318-0612. You can write Yahoo by snail mail at 701 1st Av., Sunnyvale, CA 94089.

You're safe however simply to ignore the message in question.
