Whirlpool Wrf990slam Support Question Water Filter Reset Light

the water filter change light is supposed to reset automatically when you install a new water filter, there is no button to reset it, i have installed a new filter, flushed the water everything is working fine but the filter light never reset what is the problem?

"...everything is working fine." Not quite everything. There are two possibilities. Either the new filter is defective or you did not install it correctly.
