Hello,

It is very likely that the magnatron of the microwave has gone out. The magnatron is the component that produces the 'microwaves' to heat/cook your food.

Replacement can be pretty costly compared to the cost of a new microwave. Try calling around for local appliance tech and see what price range may be.
