What Am I Doing Wrong?

9/19/2011 Dryer connected by Propane Company on Sept. 15, 2011. When I use the dryer on “Low” temp the gas burner cycles on/off. The temperature of the metal exhaust pipe coming out of the back of the dryer is low enough that I can touch it without burning my fingers. However, when I use the dryer on “Warm” temp the gas burner DOES NOT cycle on/off. The temperature of the metal exhaust pipe coming out of the back of the dryer becomes so HOT that I cannot touch it without burning my fingers. If I use this setting (Warm) I’m sure I will set the house on fire!!!! What am I doing Wrong?
