My Whirlpool Cabrio Washer (wtw7800xw0)

a small load of clothing was washing, then the water would not drain. I paused the machine, then started it up again this prompted a message (ADD GARMENT in the right side of the control panel. (Showed no code)

Most likely your drain pump has has failed. This is a common repair.
