Missing Shock? On Wfw9250ww01 Whirlpool Washer

washer is out of warranty and had to do some basic maintenance. when i had the back off i noticed that there is three shocks on the bottom of the barrel. looking more closely there are fastening location for an additional shock on the right rear. my question is am i missing a shock that never got installed at the factory or is it not needed on this model... should it have 3 or 4 shocks. thanks
