Wfg510s0as Knobs Keep Getting Turned On. Danger

Myself and friends keep brushing up against the gas range and turning the gass on just enough to create a leak but not enough for the ignitor to go off.  This has happened many times....  Is this something that might cause a recall?  Was it intalled wrong.  This is making me very nervous because I have small children.
