Oven Will Not Stay Lit And Showed A 600 D Code

Usually the 600D error indicates a problem with the EOC (electronic oven control) board. Usually there is a short across that board; you can try unplugging the unit to clear the error. Most of the time you need to replace it. This is part 12 shown here: http://www.partselect.com/Models/WFG361LVS2/Sections/CONTROL-PANEL-PARTS/?ModelID=1611866&ModelNum=WFG361LVS2&mfgModelNum=&ManufactureID=3&Selected=IRYEBHAL&Position=2&mfg=Whirlpool&Type=Range&Mark=2 . I'm not sure if the EOC you need is the black version for the silver model. There are two parts listed (white or black); order the appropriate one.

You may want to check the wiring and power to the gas valve and igniter. See http://www.applianceblog.com/manuals/DSI_manual.pdf for some diagnostic tests to ensure that no other parts have failed. Plan on replacing any components that are also faulty. (If too many parts are also not getting the correct voltage or incorrect resistance, it may be cheaper to buy a new unit.)
