Whirlpool Wfc7500vw Won't Turn On

Hi I bought a new wfc7500vw cheap it had a broken knob. I replaced the knob but now the machine seems stuck in the off position. No lights come on when the knob turns. I know that the machine is getting power all the way up to the knob. Any suggestions?
