Whirlpool Washer Fills With Water And Instead Of Washing Goes Into Drain Mode

As of this writing Help Owl staff has misidentified your Whirlpool product as WED9050XW, which is obviously not yours. (It's a dryer, not a washer.) I'm sorry for the error, but what I can do is walk you through the process I'd use if I knew the correct model number. This should give you your answer, although it may take a minute or two.

Go to this Repair Clinic page, type the correct model number in the second search box, the one at the left, and press "Search." (Don't use the first search box.) On the next page you may have to scroll down. Then look for the link that describes your issue.
