Washer Arms Not Spraying Water

I have run my dishwasher on several cycles to see if it would work if I changed wash setting...no luck. There is hot water getting in the bottom of dishwasher but the washer arms both upper and lower do not spin and spray water. If I cancel the cycle, the pump pumps the water out completely. It seems to me maybe the pump outlet or passage to filling the washer arms on top and bottom is plugged since the dishes are not getting wet. Any help or assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dave
