Ice Not Dispensing On Whirlpool Gold Gsgnbexrb01 Refrigerator

My ice dispenser does not dispense ice and makes a humming noise when I press the button for ice.  When I unplug refrigerator and plug it back up, the dispenser works for a few minutes and then stops again.  what possibly is the problem?
