Cannot Get The Release Button To Release The Ice Bin On Whirlpool Gs5vhaxwy.

For some reason the release button on my Whirlpool GS5VHAXWY will not allow me to remove the ice bin?  I have removed it before, but now it seems to be stuck and I cannot get it to release.  I does shift positions a little so it is not frozen solid?  What could be causing this?
