How To Access Microwave Door Switch

We have a Whirlpool GMC305PRS01 oven/microwave unit. The right door latch was catching and got flipped into the wrong position. We were able to pull it back forward and instantly the light went out and upon closing the door to test the microwave it will not turn back on and gives an error of "Door" which of course means it thinks the door is still open. We believe the door switch did not reset but do not know how to access it. Do we have to pull the entire oven/microwave unit out of the opening? If so, then how do we get inside to reset the switch? We feel confident it is not a fuse as even resetting the circuit breaker lets us do just about every other function except start it to heat something up.
