Works On And Off

When I unplug it and plug it in it will work great then start to pulsate and sounds like water running. no ice. do the same over and it will work 2 days then pulsate and not make ice. Technition said it is either leaking freeon or the mother board is bad. I spent so much on this in the first place and replaced another part to the tune of 300$.
