Gas Range
My gas range has an F5 on the range panel what does that mean

On most models the error "F-5" indicates a door-latch error (oven door may not be properly shut).
The following link provides instructions on what you can try to stop the error from appearing.

Please keep in mind, if the 'Quick Fix' section does not resolve your issue, you may want to continue to the 'Latch replacement/installation' sections to replace a part for your appliance to function properly again.
Or, depending on your skill level for DIY repairs,you may want to request a quote from a repairman, once you advise him/her what you believe the problem is, if preferred.
