Gas Range

My gas range has an F5 on the range panel what does that mean

F5 usually means Board failure. You need to Replace the control board (also called ERC or clock)

On most models the error "F-5" indicates a door-latch error (oven door may not be properly shut).

Please keep in mind, if the 'Quick Fix' section does not resolve your issue, you may want to continue to the 'Latch replacement/installation' sections to replace a part for your appliance to function properly again.
