Neither Frig Nor Freezer Doors Will Not Stay Fully Open

Bought unit on Dec 26, 2011 from Lowes. Neither Frig nor Freezer Doors will not stay fully open, and close 1/2 way on me, making it difficult to reach into the freezer or refrig to remove or search for items. I have owned several frigs over my lifetime and have never had this problem before. How do I fix the "closing door" problem. Thanks, Sebastian V.
