Whirlpool Quiet Partner 1 Dishwasher, Leaves A Brown, Smearable Film

My Whirlpool Quiet Partner 1 dishwasher is less than a year old. Almost immediately it began to leave a brown smear-able film on the inside of the dishwasher and door. Even running the washer with vinegar does not remove it. There is about 1-1.5" water in the bottom while running the washer. The model number is DU1015XTXB2.

It sounds like the motor or pump seal is leaking oil. Since it's still in warranty call Whirlpool CS @ the number listed in the manual.
