Not Working
i just got this HD and it will not register on my PC. I plugged it in, it asked to install hardware, so i did. now i can not find the HD on my PC at all. If you could give me some things to check on that would be great.

There are many reviews on Newegg about this drive being flaky or having it stop working after a short period. You should not have to do anything to the drive outside of plugging it in. Windows should see the drive and mount it as a removable disk. I would suggest taking it back and getting either a new drive, or better yet, a different drive (as per the Newegg suggestions that this is a poorly designed hard drive).
